A day at Choice - how we organize our workday

Whether you arrive by car or public transport, once you arrive, take the elevator directly to our light-filled office. Right next to the entrance, a display shows where you have booked your workspace for today-concentration in the quiet zone or exchange in the activity zone? It’s up to you.

Once you’ve arrived at your desk, you can settle in, grab some fresh sparkling water with lemon, a coffee, or one of our delicious lemonades – maybe even grab some nuts or a banana for a healthy start to the day. Then it’s time to get started: check emails, coordinate projects, exchange ideas, and make decisions.

Meetings take place in our modern meeting rooms, such as “Gabi,” “Steve,” or “Henry,” named after Henry Ford, Steve Jobs, and our long-time employee Gabi. All rooms are equipped with reliable technology for hybrid collaboration. For quick discussions in between or creative Sessions, many also like to use our cozy cubes or our seating areas in our bistro area.

We usually spend our lunch break together at the large dining table, chatting about TV series, vacations, favorite recipes, or current projects. In the afternoon, you decide whether you want to focus fully on your work again or seek out teamwork – and then you can head home at the end of the day feeling good.

Team culture that connects

What connects us is not only created in meetings, but also in the many small moments in between. One highlight is our monthly “Bürobolognese”: a joint lunch with pasta for everyone – where the focus is on exchange. This often leads to unplanned conversations from which new ideas grow.

Once a month, the entire team comes together for the “Aktuelle Stunde”. Here we share news from all areas, celebrate successes, and create understanding for ongoing projects. Breakfast together is just as much a part of this as open communication on an equal footing.

These moments show that here, everyone is part of a community that works together and can rely on each other.

Development that is supported

At Choice, we believe that genuine development requires more than just long-term service. That’s why we actively support you on your journey – with appreciative discussions, individual support, and a corporate culture characterized by respect, reliability, and drive.

At the heart of this is our annual competency development review (KEG). This is not primarily about setting goals or performance reviews, but rather about the question: Which skills do you want to strengthen specifically – for your personal development and for the collective know-how within the company?

The KEG reflects on individual strengths, identifies potential, and defines concrete next steps. We focus on reliability in our support, respectful exchange on an equal footing, and encourage proactive action.

Mental health at Choice

At Choice, we care not only about professional development – we also pay close attention to the mental well-being of our employees.
